8 Week Clinical Supervision Consultation Group
Are you new to clinical supervision? Have you been supervising for 15 years? Either way- this group is for you!
As group facilitators and expert supervisors, we believe that strong clinical skills do not necessarily translate to effective supervisory skills and that the ability to translate these existing skills into the competencies required for effective supervision requires intentional training and preparation. This group is rooted in the belief that in order to shift the paradigm away from the notion that a fully licensed clinician is inherently prepared to assume the role of a supervisor without ongoing support, we need to develop greater reverence and ongoing support for the work of clinical supervisors.
Through a mix of peer consultation and the delivery of supervisory “tips and tricks”, supervisors will leave this group feeling well supported and confident in their ability to offer growth-enhancing supervisory skills. The group will run for 8 weeks on Thursday mornings from 9-10 am CST, starting on January 16th. The group will be held over Zoom. The cost per session is $55, or you can gain a $50 discount by purchasing all sessions in advance for $390.
