We currently offer both short form focused trainings and a 10 hour Supervision Comprehensive. Our Supervision Comprehensive Workshop is our "A to Z" or "soup to nuts" training, covering everything upcoming or newer supervisors could need to start their journey, while also offering important grounding to more experienced supervisors. Our shorter trainings offer a more focused experience, targeting specific supervision approaches, challenges, and development of the supervisory self. With nearly two decades of combined teaching and training experience, we excel at creating engaging spaces that invite curiosity, growth, and self-reflection. These trainings can be conducted in person or virtually, and content can be adjusted upon request. Most trainings range from 3-4 hours, depending on content and customization. All trainings are eligible for NBCC CE hours.
Comprehensive Supervision Workshop (10 Hours)
This interactive and immersive workshop covers everything supervision! Supervisors will walk away feeling grounded and more confident in their approach and supervisory identity. Designed for upcoming, new, and established supervisors, this workshop blends self-reflection, practical strategies, and established models of supervision to help you build a strong supervisory identity and approach.

Halt the Harm: Breaking Patterns of Supervisory Trauma (3 Hours)
Clinical supervision is one of the most impactful experiences in the professional life of a mental health provider, influencing our professional identities, our clinical approaches, even our future career options. For better or worse, the impact of these experiences can often be most pronounced when we step into the role of supervisor ourselves. While we hope to carry on the best parts of our previous supervision, without intention and examination of these experiences, we can also re-enact the worst parts as well. This training will focus on the exploration of past supervisory relationships, how these experiences may impact us as current and future supervisors, and helping supervisors in identifying necessary changes to support mitigating future harm.
Starting Strong: Shaping Supervision in Three Sessions (3 Hours)
In this training, we’ll dig into how to leverage your first three meetings with a supervisee to begin establishing trust, rapport and connection. We will cover how to initiate conversations around expectations, feedback, power and identity in supervision, and more. To support these vital discussions we will leverage supervisory agreements as a tool to strengthen collaboration and accountability between supervisor and supervisee. You’ll get a practical customizable template to guide your own agreement and an understanding of how to use it as a guide for establishing the supervisory alliance. By the end you will have clarity on how early supervision and the use of supervisory agreements allow both supervisor and supervisee to collaborate on the shared art of clinical supervision in a beautiful and meaningful way.
What's A Theoretical Orientation Again? (2 Hours)
While we learned the various theoretical orientations in graduate school, our language to describe what they mean to us and how we use them can become muddled over time as we engage in real world practice and expand our repertoire. But, the ability to define our clinical approach to future supervisees is vital to ensuring a positive fit, and that clinical approach directly influences our supervisory approach. We will explore how to translate this clinical approach into an effective and thoughtful supervisory approach. This training will help supervisors understand and describe their clinical approach, support them around leveraging these skills into effective supervision, while also promoting a rich understanding of foundational supervisory models.
Deepening the Supervisory Relationship as a Supervisee (2-3 Hours)
While we often focus on the responsibilities of the supervisor when considering quality supervision, the supervisee additionally has important responsibilities to consider in this relationship. Meaningful supervision can only happen when a supervisee understands how to effectively utilize what is being offered to them, and can show up to the process prepared and open for growth. This training will help supervisees understand their role in supervision and how to deepen positive supervisory relationships
Understanding The Supervisory Arc: A Three Stage Relational Model (3 Hours)
This training is a strong foundation building experience for both new and experienced supervisors. This training will focus on understanding the arc of the supervisory relationship, providing insight and strategies to help supervisors build meaningful connections with supervisees. Topics will include; tailoring supervision and relationship building, managing power differentials, creation of a supervisory agreement, giving and receiving feedback, consolidation and termination and more. Leveraging an academic understanding of clinical supervision with practical and applied skills, this workshop will help boost your confidence in both your supervisory approach and supervisory identity
